Overview

Introduction

LOGODI’s international programs are a cornerstone of the institute’s broader mandate to contribute toward better governance in the world. These programs are designed exclusively for foreign officials and share Korea’s local administrative system and regional development experience, and include support for sustainable development strategies in partner countries. LOGODI further provides follow-up management through on-site training, by invitation of a host government or institution.

Programs in Korea

Funded by official development assistance (ODA) from the Korean Government, and designed and operated by LOGODI. Further sponsorship may be provided by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). Includes programs by official request from a country, customized to respond to the training needs of its officials.

Designed and operated overseas by LOGODI at the invitation of a host government or institution, often via alumni as its representatives. Expenses are shared with the host country, for which a curriculum is developed in accordance with its training needs. LOGODI support extends beyond completion of every on-site program.

Seminar

Jointly hosted by LOGODI and the School of Continuing Education at Tsinghua University (SCETU), alternating annually between Korea and China since 2007. Public officials and experts converge to discuss local governance and policy issues faced by both countries, under a new theme each year.

 

From 2019, LOGODI will host Global Forum with heads for government officials training institutions around the world.
