The opening ceremony of "Capacity Building on Local Government Administration and Leadership Management“ which is organized by LOGODI with the sponsorship of KOICA, was held in Seoul.
This is the two week program with series of lectures on good governance in local government, korean economic development, local administration and finance, performance Management in the public sector, etc., which were needed from the participants county.
Along with indoor lectures, participants will make study visits to the various institutions in the field of water treatment, waste management, tourism promotion and IT industry as well as have cultural activities in cities, which will enable participants to broaden their insights.
Mr. Choi Myung-kyu, Director General of Planning Department of LOGODI, delivered heartfelt welcome to the delegation and expressed his sincere hope that participants will generate brilliant ideas and insights in this program and contribute to the development of Tanzania.
LOGODI carried out the very first capacity building program for Tanzanian government officials in 2007. Since then, 9 programs were ran up to 2015 and
last year the program was resumed that 141 Tanzanian government officials became LOGODI alumni.
