WANJU – A delegation of nine senior officials from Palestine are now at LOGODI to complete a nine-day program for managers in human resources development, customized in consortium with the Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) and sponsored by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
Mr. Mousa M. M. Hasan, Chairman of Palestine’s General Personnel Council (GPC) and head of the board for the Palestinian National School of Administration (PNSA), represented the high-level group at the opening ceremony for the “Palestine HRD Program,” which was conjoined with the closing ceremony for the PNSA Training of Trainers (TOT) Program yesterday in Seoul.
LOGODI President Bae Jin-hwan congratulated the PNSA trainers for their intensive one-month term in Korea, while expressing his wishes for an equally successful series of exchanges with those who will be steering the training institute in Palestine.
The current program’s delegation consists of directors general and others across several ministries and agencies in Palestine, and seeks to strengthen their capacity through the sharing of Korea’s experience in administrative and human resource development. From today until November 20, the group will receive lectures in areas such as anti-corruption reform and administrative transparency, good governance, e-government, and public HRD strategy.
The delegates have already made a study visit to the Korea Local Information Research & Development Institute (KLID) in Seoul, and are scheduled to make further site visits over the coming days to POSCO in Pohang City and Hyundai Motor Company in Ulsan Metropolitan City.
