SEOUL – The delegation of eight directors general and others across several ministries and agencies in Palestine has today completed its Palestine HRD Program in Korea, carried out by LOGODI and the Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) with sponsorship from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
Over the course of nine days across Seoul Special Metropolitan City and Jeonbuk Province, including the cities of Jeonju and Gunsan, the senior officials set to steer the Palestinian National School of Administration (PNSA) received lectures from renowned scholars and made study and site visits to the Korea Local Information Research & Development Institute (KLID), Hyundai Motor Company’s Jeonju Plant, the Korea Rural Community Corporation’s “Saemangeum” – the longest dyke in the world – Jeonbuk Institute of Automotive Technology, and others.
During the closing ceremony in Seoul, LOGODI President Bae Jin-hwan expressed his expectations for Palestine’s further development as a result of this program and pledged to support moving ahead.
Ms. Zeina J. M. Abdulhadi, Minister’s Advisor in international and public relations and a board member at PNSA, thanked LOGODI, KDS, and KOICA for customizing the program, which she believed covered many important issues for Palestine. She and the other delegates stated that through the program they were able to see Korea’s success story in national development, as credited to the will of its people and the government’s investment in human resource development.
The close of the program precedes the commencement of LOGODI’s Local Administration Development Program for 2017, which will welcome tomorrow 13 officials from Armenia, Cambodia, Colombia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
