Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior visits LOGODI

WANJU – A delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior (MOI) of Cambodia. Mr. Samdech Krolahom Sar Kheng visited LOGODI to share know-how on local government officials' training program and management.
The group, composed of 18 participants from MOI including Secretary of State, Director General of General Dept', Secretary General of General Secretariat, Deputy Commissioner of National Police, Rector of National School of Local Administration (NASLA) etc. arrived in Korea yesterday to benchmark Korea's experiences in Security, E-registration system, especially, management of LOGODI and its program for the capacity development of government officials.
As requested by MOI, LOGODI delivered a special presentation on the status of LOGODI and its program, local personnel management system and the relation with training of local government officials followed by the campus tour.
LOGODI participated in the Korea-Cambodia Public Administration Forum in November, 2017 which was co-hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS) in Korea and MOI in Cambodia, since then, has been communicating with MOI and found the training needs.
On the basis of MOU signed by both Vice Ministers during the forum, in November, 2018, LOGODI carried out three- day seminar for high-level government officials in Phnom Phen with attendance of 80 central and local officials around Cambodia.
NASLA under MOI, although a campus is under construction, already started the training program for local government officials and expressed its interest and strong will to share LOGODI's know-how and experiences.
Mr. Park Jae-min, President of LOGODI, gave a heartfelt welcome and delivered his sincere wish for the further cooperation between NALSA and LOGODI, which will devote as a foundation for the closer relationship between two countries.
