WANJU – About 200 Mongolian local government officials are ready to share the Korea's cases in the fields of 'Local Administration','Regional Development', 'Public Ethic and Leadership' and 'Public Service Using ICT'.
Mongolian government set up the long term development policy named ' Vision 2050' and it stresses the importance of capacity building of government officials to deliver transparent, rapid public service to the citizen.
In line with that CABSEC and LOGODI cooperated to design the program in the basis of those needs and expected that this program will be the forum to share the best cases in each topic.
This is the first virtual training in cooperation with Cabinet Secretary of Mongolia since the breakout of COVID-19. Reflecting the strong needs on knowledge sharing, almost 200 local government officials applied to the program and about 42% .are senior officials.
It is expected that participants benchmark the Korean cases for the betterment of public service in every corner of their local government.
Mr. Zorigbaatar, head of the local administration department of CABSEC appreciated LOGODI for the effort to make this program activated, and expressed his hope that this program will contribute not only to the personal development but to the national development of Mongolia.
