From March 21 to 25, 2022, LOGODI carries out the "2022 Capacity Building Program for the National Academy of Governance (NAOG) Faculty (Mongolia)."
According to the revised Mongolian Civil Service Law in 2017 and the Mongolian Education Plan Strategy in 2019, there are increasing demands of short term training for the government officials. In line with that, the NAOG organized several work groups consisting of the NAOG's faculty and trainers education personnel and is developing the new eight short-term courses and requested LOGODI to share the know how to develop curriculum modules for the ongoing projects.
Under the theme of "Development and Operation of Short-Term Curriculum Modules," LOGODI provided various activities, such as Pre-recorded lectures, workshops of curriculum development practice, case study presentations, and discussions, to meet the particular needs of the NAOG.
During the program, LOGODI offered special lectures on various topics, such as Korea's education and training system, the competency of civil servants in the New Normal era, short-term training module development and procedure, and case studies.
In the opening ceremony, Dr. Yoon Jong-jin, President of LOGODI, said, "Since the signing of an MOU with the NAOG in 2002, we have been building mutual trust and friendly relationship through continuous cooperation for the last 20 years." Moreover, he added, "I hope this training will be a good opportunity to strengthen the Mongolian government officials' capacity and contribute to accomplishing the goals of the of Mongolia's national development."
