From June 20 to 24, LOGODI operates the second round of the 3-year (2021-2023) program titled ‘Capacity Development Program for National School of Local Administration (NASLA)’ for NSALA’s faculty and administrators.
Implementing its Rectangular Strategy and Public Administration Reform, the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) prioritizes human capital development. As the local autonomy and decentralization policy stressed, gradual transfer of central power to local government is expected. So does local government officials capacity enhancement.
Therefore, Cambodian government established NALSA and although its campus is still under construction, NASLA has already started its training program for local government officials and its organizational structure was set up.
This year, LOGODI supported NASLA by sharing know-how from training needs analysis to teaching methodology as well as the organization and tole of institutions, change management and etc.
As a case sharing, LOGODI invited the vice rector of National Academy of Governance (NAOG), Dr. Byambayar Dulamsuren, to share the development experiences of NAOG.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Munyraksa So, President of NASLA, said “ It is always great pleasure to work with LOGODI. I hope this program will enable NALSA faculty and staff to improve their capacity to act as a stepping stone for the local development.”
