WANJU-The closing ceremony for five different long-term programs was held at LOGODI on December 5, 2019. The long-term programs are for a total of 390 mid- and high-level local government officials, to enhance their capacity and strengthen their leadership throughout 10 months. Each program is tailored to the needs of its participants and the requirements of each local governments' development strategies.
A week before the closing ceremony, a special cultural event was held at LOGODI, and the participants shared their achievements. This year, their art crafts, such as calligraphy, photography, lacquer painting were displayed. Moreover, Korean traditional performances and musical instruments of 18 groups from the programs took part in the event and showcased their cultural interests and artistic talents.
The LOGODI President Park Jae-min presided to congratulate the graduates and delivered remarks of encouragement. In his remarks, he expressed his hope that 10 months at LOGODI will be a fruitful time for the improvement of participant's capacity and leadership.
