Fourteen senior government officials from eight developing counties: Bangladesh, Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Nepal, Philippine, Sri Lanka and Uzbekistan, participated in 16-day local administration program for developing counties in April, 2009.
LOGODI has been running the international study program for 10 years since 2000. It has a great reputation as 149 government officials from 39 countries have completed it.
The participants of the program inherited national development experiences and procedures of South Korean local administration. Government officials in the program participated in activities that are related to various lectures. After receiving a briefing on local self-government human resource management at Busan city hall, they had a trial performance on Narajangteo (나라장터) system at Public Procurement Service.
This vivid experience helped each of participants to come up with an appropriate local government system for their country. In addition, they had a chance to visit Korea industrial complex corp and the place of origin village, Chungdo New Village Movement, where the development of South Korea is evidently shown.
