LOGODI's 51st president takes office

WANJU – Mr. Joo Nak-young was today appointed the 51st President of LOGODI.
President Joo worked for North Gyeongsang Provincial Government as the Acting Governor and the Vice Governor of Administrative Affairs. Accordingly, he is well-acquainted with local governance.
He also worked for the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs (MOGAHA), formerly the Ministry of Security and Public Administration (MOSPA), as the Director General of the Administratve System Policy Department, which made him thoroughly familiar with affairs regarding the central government.
In his inaugural speech, President Joo emphasized the importance of human resources, saying that competitiveness of a nation and its local governments comes from capable people. He encouraged all of his staff to make LOGODI into a leading training institute that builds the capacity of local government officials, to ensure a bright future for Korea.
