Ugandan officials complete program on local administration

WANJU – 15 central and local government officials from Uganda have completed the "Capacity Building Program on Local Administration (Uganda)," carried out from April 3-23, 2016.
LOGODI President Joo Nak-young gave a heartfelt welcome to the delegation and expressed his keen interest in developing a close relationship between Korea and Uganda.
The delegates stayed in Korea for three weeks, taking lectures in the areas of economic development, agricultural development strategy, principles and strategy of the Saemaeul Movement, e-government, administrative transparency, HRM, and Korean culture.
They also made study visits to government institutions such as Saha-gu Office and Busan Port Authority in Busan and Seoul Transport Operation & Information Service. Cultural activities were arranged as well.
