WANJU – A group of trainers arrived at LOGODI last night from Palestine, and began training this morning toward the development of programs, curricula, and an evaluation system at the Palestinian National School of Administration.
The “PNSA Training of Trainers (TOT) Program” – co-organized by LOGODI and the Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) with the sponsorship of KOICA – invites 15 faculty members from the institution, whose acronym is PNSA, to strengthen their capacity as trainers back home. They collectively come with experience in leadership roles at ministries, commissions, councils, governorates, and other agencies in Palestine.
The program commenced with a welcome event hosted by LOGODI President Bae Jin-hwan, and was followed by a presentation on Korean culture and society by Prof. Kim Seong-Kon from Seoul National University, as a preface to the content to come.
Throughout the course of the one-month customized program, 14 Korean professors will conduct a series of lectures and workshops as subject matter experts across a range of themes, sharing Korea’s example of good governance in the areas of economic development, administrative transparency, government innovation, and others.
Modules will cover everything from the aims of a program to theories and models on its development, and will include in-depth study on subjects and topics along with hands-on work to establish training materials.
Study and site visits to the nation’s top institutions for higher education, research and development institutes, and others that respond to the core tasks of Palestine’s “National Policy Agenda” (December 2016), as well as cultural activities in cities around the country, will supplement the itinerary to ensure a diversity of experiences.
