WANJU – A commencement ceremony for this year’s incoming trainees in long-term programs at LOGODI took place today, with an attendance of over 400 officials from across Korea.
The Minister of the Interior and Safety along with LOGODI President Park Byungho, who was newly appointed yesterday, presided to formally induct the 387 trainees and deliver remarks of encouragement for the duration to come.
The event marks the start of the year’s five ten-month programs for senior and managerial officials from metropolitan, provincial, city, county, and district governments in Korea, separately customized for senior policy managers (37), senior leaders (114), junior leaders (140), global leaders (28), and women leaders (68).
As LOGODI’s longest-term series of courses, the programs collectively set out to cultivate the capacities and leadership skills demanded in the positions served by the trainees at their respective local governments.
