Wanju - LOGODI held the farewell event for Tanzanian officials on their successful completion of the two-week ran capacity building program in the fields of Good Governance and Innovation.
This is the second of its kind which was designed to improve the capacity of local government administration and leadership of individuals as well as institutions since it was resumed from last year.
For two weeks, participants attended series of lectures, which included good governance, conflict management, HRD in public sector, etc. and made study visits to K-water, Resource Recovery Facilities, Jeon-ju Provincial Government, Suncheon Bay Management Center and National Garden, etc.
Mr. Park Jae-min, President of LOGODI, congratulated them all on their successful completion and appreciated their sincere participation during the program. In addition, Mr. Park expressed his hope that participant's experience in Korea will be reflected positively not only on individual performances in their work but also in their institutions and motherland, Tanzania.
During the closing ceremony, program participants shared reflections on their experience over the last two-weeks and expressed deep appreciation to LOGODI and Korean government for providing such a fruitful program.
In addition, the delegation of Tanzanian local governments asked for the continued training programs on local governance, local finance and further cooperation for the development of Tanzania.
