WANJU - From June 8th to 14th, 2021, LOGODI launched the first round of the 3-year (2020-2022) customized program titled ‘Capacity Development Program for National School of Local Administration (NASLA)’ for the government officials of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
With the sponsorship of KOICA, LOGODI designed the capacity-building program for faculty and staff of the National School of Local Administration (NASLA) and the HRD & HRM officials from central ad local governments.
After the Korea-Cambodia Public Administration Forum in 2017, LOGODI has worked together with the Ministry of Interior (MOI) of Cambodia. Forming a close relationship with NASLA, LOGODI also shared Korea's experiences with Cambodian government officials through an on-site program in 2018.
Particularly, this 3-year program is one of the results of cooperative efforts between LOGODI and NASLA. In 2019, Mr. Samdech Krolahom Sar Kheng, the Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia, visited and requested LOGODI to support NASLA by sharing know-how on local government officials training programs and management. Although its campus is still under construction, NASLA has already started its training program for local government officials.
Upon request of the MOI, this year, LOGODI customized the program to focus on enhancing the capacity of participants in Government Innovation, Sustainable Development, Human Resource Flow, and Future Strategies of HRM through various special lectures, presentations, and action plan consulting sessions.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Kim Jang-hoi, President of LOGODI, expressed his hope that this program plays a seminal role in cementing the existing relations of both institutes to be more dynamic. He also added, “As the president of LOGODI, I will make my utmost effort to support the close relationship and cooperation with NASLA together through this difficult time.”
