WANJU - LOGODI carries out an online program, Capacity Building Program for Civil Servants in Ethiopia, from August 8 to 18, 2021.
Sponsored by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), LOGODI designed the 3-year (2021-2023) capacity-building program for Ethiopian government officials. This year is the first round with 22 executive officials of the Federal Civil Service Commission, Ethiopian Civil Service University, and Meles Zenawi Leadership Academy in Ethiopia.
This program aims to support the Ethiopian government officials to enhance their capacity in implementing the Growth and Transformation Plan II (GTP II) of Ethiopia. The national plan strives to spur economic structural transformation and sustain accelerated growth towards the realization of the national vision to become a middle-income country by 2025. It also includes an operational roadmap for Public Administration Reform, including public service quality improvement and capacity-based human resource management.
Mr. Kim Janghoi, President of LOGODI, expressed his hope at the opening ceremony that this program is an opportunity to share the experience of both countries and support the public service reform and national development. He added, "I also hope this program will further deepen our friendly relations between Korea and Ethiopia."
