21 senior government officials from West Java Province, Indonesia, visited Korea to share Korea's digital transformation and administrative innovation strategies.
Funded by West Java Provincial Government, LOGODI designed a capacity- building program
based on the requested topics like digitalization strategies and implementation, administrative innovation.
Located in the western part of Java Island in Indonesia, the Government of West Java Province is actively pursuing policies for digital transformation, including the establishment of infrastructure such as the internet, digital literacy education, and optimization of IoT and e-commerce technologies, with the aim of improving the lives of its residents and enhancing the local economy.
Headed by the Regional Secretary of West Java Province, senior officials from the national and division-level departments in the fields of planning, organization, and information communication, as well as local governments.
The delegation participated in lectures on Korea's digital strategies and directions, digital leadership in the public sector, and cases of public service and local administration innovation. In addition, had study visits to Incheon Metropolitan City, Gochang County, and the Korea Land Geospatial Information Corporation (LX) and explored examples of smart city development and local economic revitalization, as well as the current status of national land and urban platform projects.
With appreciation, Mr. Setiawan Wangsaatmaja, Regional Secretary of West Java Province, mentioned that the lessons learned during the program will be a positive impact on policy planning of West Java Province .
