SEOUL – The completion ceremony of the capacity building program for Cambodian local government officials was held in Seoul in attendance with 15 participants.
This program carried out by LOGODI with the sponsorship of KOICA, commenced in 2021 and had its first and second rounds in virtual training, and as the last round, this year's training was conducted in person way from July 30 to August 9.
During their stay, participants were actively involved in lectures on inter-governmental governance, regional development, local government Innovation, training methodology, digital government, and leadership. In addition, they had a study visit to eyewitness the policy implementation such as Smart Farm, Jeonju City Innovation Center, Digital Government Exhibition Center, Sejong City Integrated Information Center, and Jeonbuk Bioindustry Promotion Center, and Seoul Housing Corporation.
In his closing remarks, the President of LOGODI, Mr, Ryu Imchul appreciated the participants' active participation and cooperation during the program and hopes the program will contribute to the personal as well as national development of Cambodia.
Mr. Birak Mom, Vice President of the Cambodia National School of Local Administration (NALSA), delivered a heartfelt appreciation to the Korean government for the valuable chance to share Korea’s experiences and stressed that they will apply the lessons learned on the job.
